Default Indexing hub from scrap HDPE

To secure stock that is too large for my indexer, I tried to remove enough material via my table saw so it would fit into the chuck's jaws. Looking for other methods, I liked the square metal indexing hubs I saw on the Humble Sticks website but couldn't find any for sale.

So, I cut a 2" diameter puck out of some scrap 1" HDPE. So far, it's working just fine -- plenty strong and I prefer chucking the round hub more as opposed to a square version. See attached photos....

I like this, you could do the same with birch ply, I have been 3d printing mine.

Birch would work just as well, and I probably have a bit more lying around. Thanks.
