To clarify a couple of email questions about the NEMA23 belt reduction units:

Can be seen in motion here: https://youtu.be/7AAq8SpJT-w at a minute, 16 seconds into the video.

Note: This is a previous version that did not use the ShopBot RBK I/O board that is no longer produced. Many of the components and for sure the belt reduction units are the same. The I/O board has been upgraded to the RBK version to enable added function and safety features.

I am now happy to announce that due to volume and favorable purchasing agreements with suppliers that the base price for the REZurrection Control System has been lowered by $100 to $1695. Option pricing unchanged.

We also are now able to provide new, latest model ShopBot Controller cards with these systems should you desire one. Customers that order a new controller card with their system will receive a $100 discount on the assembled and tested system

Customers that have an old controller card to turn in will receive an additional $100 credit for it.

To clarify a number of emails, that if you have any one of the PC chassis based systems, the basic REZurrection system replaces it and retains all original function. There will also be additional functions (from the RBK I/O board): more inputs and outputs (up to 12) and control for 2 spindles and/or routers. Spindle control logic (on/off) is built in. If you wish to have router control (on/off) the router contactor is required.

None of the other options are required unless you wish to add additional features.

    Randy...
Assuming all the components are in place and operable there will always be some value for any ShopBot control box. I would assume that as these legacy components degrade and become inoperable over time that value will decline. That said, one of the benefits of upgrading to a REZurrection system is the resale value of existing control components to your peers. A number of users have been able to reduce the cost of new REZurrection system by 35 to 50% by reselling their used control boxes.

I will not comment on recommendations or actual value, for the obvious reasons, but hopefully those that have upgraded will share their experience.

Thanks, how does the rezurrection compare to the alpha?
