Default PRT Jog rez vs Move rez

There must be a post here on this but I can't find it. It seems move unit values are different than jog unit values. I accidentally lost my file that set the unit values and other info and reset all but discovered the above behavior. Where do I go to fix this?

Are you running an Alpha machine?
If so, try “resolution multipliers” … under unit values.

Thanks. that seemed to work except now my Z is acting oddly. Like it is drifting deeper into the material as the cut progresses. It is not a slipping bit - I just confirmed that.

    Marcel…
Likely a multiplier is still wrong. Maybe the Z axis only?
    What machine are you running?

Thanks Steve. PRT Alpha 2004 vintage with 60 x 96 table. You are right. I changed my Z multiplier from 4 to 5 and that solved the X and Y. Doing it to the Z started that new problem so I set it to 4.5. I do not know the function of this factor and have not had time to research. Perhaps you can direct me to a relevant discussion or document online. Not much in my binder to go on.

My alpha from the same era has all axis set to 4…

As I understand it, The Alpha controller changes resolution when set to jog. This allows higher speed travel without having to send a proportionally higher amount of data. Very fine resolution is unnecessary when jogging…
