Looking for a rotary indexer to use as a 4th axis on my PRT. Interested in a 3" or 6". Thought I'd check on the forum before pulling the trigger on a new one. Would also be interested to hear if anyone has built their own. Thanks.

when i bought my buddy i also bought a 4 ft power stick, but shopbot sold me the 2 foot anyhow. I dont know anything about indexers but i understand that the aluminum table/stick is something that you use. I think i used it for a test run and then took it off the table and put it up and put the 4 footer on. I am sure you could get it cheaper from me then shopbot if you actually need it.
Rob, I don't know about indexers, but I was just looking at the Shopbot site, and they don't show indexers of any size for PRTs. They show them for PRS, PRS alpha, Desktops and for Buddies. I don't know why they wouldn't work with a PRT, but you should ask someone who knows on the outside chance you aren't already aware of this. (But I am curious....)
Good luck, Chuck
