Help with Delta VFD

We have a ShopBot 4x8 with Colombo 5hp spindle, delta VFD and have the RPM Controller with the USB Dongle. We can not get the RPM Controller to work, after checking with support were told a few people have gotten the controller to work but they do not know how. We are trying to get spindle to automatically change speed both on warm up and during cut routines, this is what the controller was supposed to do but it is not working. Does any one know how to achieve this?

Add me to the "could never get it to work" list.
I tried every version of the speed controller SB offered.
Basically, there are some Delta VFD's that it just doesn't work with.
