Default Live Edge and a little Mid Century

My maple is finally ready to use. I let the logs sit for 4 years in the hope of spalling. I did not get the spalling I had hoped for but the grain was really enhanced. Making this would have been MUCH harder without the shopbot.

    Hi,

Beautiful job. The hardest part is probably the waiting. I like how you milled the wood for the 90 degree corner.

I don't know if this is true but i read somewhere that if you take a log and place it on end and pour beer over it while sitting on an asphalt driveway (as opposed to dirt) and cover it that will make it spalt. It could be total BS but i think i read that somewhere long ago.
