    Default Help with adding a little bling to some ornaments.

    I have some 1/4" sign board that I was given and I am trying to make some simple ornaments. I would like to add a simple single line flourish or something. I tried drawing the flourish but it did not come out very well. I have looked and can't really find anything this is not my normal use of my router and I am not very artistic. What do you think?

    Michael,
    Have you looked through Vector Art 2D;

    I looked through my flourishes, but nothing hit me, and I'm not artistic either.
    I did make a little geometric with the fluting toolpath, based on cutting vectors from the perimeter, but probably not what you had in mind.
    Lots of ways to mod it though.
    Same depth and bit on the Mason.

    Thanks Scott that looks better than just plain but I was trying to create a scroll type single line to put on top and bottom 4 one in each quarter so to speak.

    How about taking a single letter of a single line font, and node editing it until you like it like I did with an "S" in the buttons on the right(and then I just circular arrayed them)?
    Maybe the letter C or L might give you something?
    Adding a 100% smooth fluting toolpath at start and end make almost anything look graceful
    I'll putz in the morning

    I LIKE it Michael
    Note that using the original depths and 90VBit there's a problem with top of "M", easily solved by going with a 60VBit with same settings.
    Congrats
