    Default Cutting Veneer

Anyone have experience with holding down and cutting veneer? I am going to do some marquetry and I have an Epilog Laser that I plan on using for most of the work, but I would like to use the Shopbot for lighter colored veneers.

This is the software I'm using.

I did this by laminating the veneer onto an mdf substrate with a very light sprayed contact cement application and using a small bit (1/8 or 1/16R). After cutting the veneer it peeled off easily.
Although I didn't use one myself I understand a Donek Dragknife and hold down foot works well also.

    Thank you for the idea!
