Checkout procut sawmills out of canada. I'm in process of making one using the Stihl 600 saw. I currently use a 36" Alaskan mill that allows me walk into the places I can't drive and cut but the procut will allow me to cut lumber and beams. Also look at a swiss company called logosol, They have some nice stuff and Baileys in California is a dealer for them. Just remember that your saw will need a ripping chain, It cuts just as nice if not better than a bandsaw and my bar won't walk over a hard knot if I'm cutting hardwood as some bandsaws do.
