I am looking for a source to buy bamboo boards, I need the to be 5/8 x 12 x 48. I have a customer that was buying a special cutting board made from bamboo, and where he was buying them from quit making them and went out of business. He has over 100 back orders for that board..

Not sure if that is still worthwhile. You can get decent size vertical laminated 1-ply Bamboo cutting boards for little money. Actually I bought a few from IKEA just to use the material.
I do buy sometimes full 8x4 sheets of 3-ply Bamboo plywood and they are just darn expensive. Last time I paid $220 per 3/4" sheet from Anderson Plywood in Culver City, CA. Fortunately this will last me for a while...
