This is a great little vacuum pump to hold down smaller projects for carving or machining. With a good vacuum seal around your part, you won't be able to pull the part loose. It runs on 110V with a cord switch (included) and doesn't need oil or a "sound enclosure" like the big pumps. In fact, once it establishes a good vacuum, it turns off and on as needed to maintain the vacuum. $150 with free shipping!
