    Default Crib board gift

I don't usually do Cribbage Boards, but Dad asked me to make one for a friend.
Found a good section of 5/4 Black Walnut we got from an Amish friend up North at $5 bf
Finished out the blank to 600G and then played with a 50/40/10 mix (Earthpaint Linseed/citrus thinner/Earthpaint 3D Iluminator(Pine Rosin)) that worked very well.
Front side with "Lady in the Woods" was pretty straightforward, but hated to interrupt the figure on the back with fonts....Took/cropped pic of actual board and imported into App Data in VCP....made my material size the same as the actual board...and placed fonts.
It wound up being within .02" of the preview to the actual cut!
Finished with my button blend of Linseed/Beeswax butter(80/20).
I loved it when I showed to our Amish furniture maker friend and after his eyes lit up, the very first thing he did was check and make sure his hands were clean before he touched it
The recipient wasn't very wood oriented...I hope it grows on him(I was happy with it).

Yes Rick...That's your William Morris .eps file from a couple years ago...Thanks!
