    Default coat of arms

I still cant capture the picture that i want of this plaque. Its 24 inches wide and 28 inches tall. Made from black walnut and i did not do the finishing. The artwork was done by Michael Mezalick. Needless to say the buyer was very happy.

What a nice piece. Each time I see one of your carvings I'm impressed.

Going along for the ride is what I do. Which is to say all my routing is done by someone else as well as the sandblasting. A person can make a fine living by going along for the ride. If your work was better known there would be people with money willing to give you some. However I see lots of work posted on this forum that has true marketability.

Just giving the designer and shopbot a plug. Thanks for you comments Joe, coming from you that means a lot. Not sure how i got into 3-d but its pretty much all that i do. I do occasional v carve but mostly 3-d and a lot of combination.

Excellent wok, I am very impressed with the quality of the finished product. Dis you need to spend much time sanding?

I use to always cut with the grain of the wood and ended up sometimes with a huge amount of fuzzies. Since i started cutting against the grain i have never changed directions. Almost zero fuzzies. I am a big believer in a sanding mop that i use with my drill. Now i did not finish it and i still have a question out to the finisher if he did any more sanding or not.
