    I have been asked to cut a sign in 1/4 inch alucobond
    photo of sign enclosed.
    can the standard spiral endmill used for this or do i need a special cutter?
    whats best cutting speed
    this sign is to be cut all the way through.
    thanks Paul;

    you can almost cut it with a toothbrush (G) I usually use a straight bit and climb cut when I cut letters as they stay in place that way. but a upcut works fine too. I usually use a climb cut as that causes the shavings to somewhat stick to the scrap and the part stays in place well. I have cut the 1/4" with a 1/16" bit when I needed really small letters.
