    Default A fun project

A marble pump. Pressing the lever lifts a marble into a column thru the center, forcing the column up, and a marble out the top and into the raceway. It speeds down the raceway and returns to the bottom, and eventually feeds back thru the cycle again.
Raceway cut with a 3/4 inch ball-end cutter on rotary axis. The portion of hacksaw blade serves as a spring. It holds in place a quarter inch bolt. The loading marble moves the bolt out as the marble passes upward. When the marble clears, the spring forces the bolt inward, holding up the stack of marbles in the cylinder.
