    Default .art to .crv conversion

Had to go way back in time this morning and found some PartWizard work I did when I was just a pup. Needing to convert .art files to something VCarve and open. Did some searching but got nada. Any help appreciated.

They aren't compatable. If (I don't recall) you can save/export the Vectors to a dxf in PW than from there into VC that would likely be it.
One thought that just hit is to run the PW file in SB3 and do a dxf conversion. There will be extra vectors from toolpathing moves but you can clean those up.

Glitches when converting toolpaths to vectors…

The toolpaths are all ½ the diameter of the bit to large or small.
When the toolpath was programed to cut in multiple passes, the converted vectors are stacked spirals that can be a chore to suss out.
And as bleeth mentioned, jogs are also included.
This method is only useful if the original can’t be reproduced any other way… like drawing from scratch!

No-Artcam (Who made the old Partworks that SB used to distribute with new equipment) as a Delcam/Autodesk product does not import Vectric files.
