    Exclamation Hello moderator: Anybody listening?

Hope someone in charge is listening -
    I'm about to stop replying.
It is a great courtesy for any participant to take time to respond to a thread, in hopes of helping others, as they have been helped by this vital forum.
Is it too much to ask for an explanation as to the problem?
Too many snipe posts that had to be removed, so now random spot checks?
Please, somebody clarify this situation. It is not going away, but I fear many valued participants are.....

JUST got off the phone with Shopbot.....they use a spam service(hope I got that right), and it's not even notifying them that there's a post for the moderator to LOOK at
VERY helpful person is looking into it as I type...he wasn't even aware of the problem and nobody had called him
    Hopefully something will happen now

Scott, I have released a bunch of posts and threads I saw in the admin and hopefully that alleviates some of the pain here. I apologize that this has caused grief here among the people who support us out in the world with good advice and timely info. My next step is to see if we are getting the notifications that a post is ready to moderate.
Thanks again for your help and notifying us of an issue!

    UPDATE:

We still have no idea why some posts are trapped by the forum spam trap, but may have figured out a way to bypass the scanning of posts after a member has a certain number of posts. We're somewhat confident that it will fix the problem, but there's also a chance that things will go horribly wrong and we'll have to revert. Only time will tell.

Thank you for the update and your work towards a remedy. As long as we know someone is doing their best, I think we can afford some patience.
Thanks again, and best of luck!

    Jeff
