    Default New dust shoe brush?

I built a dust shoe for my machine and I could use a stiffer brush for it does anyone have a source for a good flexible brush? The one I have is from McMaster Carr and is 3" long and designed to slide into a groove .200" wide but I could use a different style. The problem I am having is it gets sucked under because it is not stiff enough.

This is the one I have now https://www.mcmaster.com/#7900t2/=19bxiut

    Thanks Mike

Have you guys bought any from these companies a specific model? The brush.com site has a good selection I may give them a call. The sealeze site has brushes with the same diameter bristles of the one I have now has .008".

    Thanks Mike

I use the Sealeze ones they work good for me. Call them and see if they will send you a sample. I got samples at one of the shopbot workshops

Yes, I have bought from brush.com… I like the metal spine because I can form it to shape and epoxy it in a groove. I have not tried the sealeze product however…
To keep a 3” brush from being sucked in, I backed it up with a 1” or 1.5” row just inside the 3” brush. Works well!

i have purchased from Zoro brushes up to 6" high (x 72" long). to "stiffen", I've added a second row of brush about 1/2 way around the area of the spindle where that was (for me and my machine) more of the problem.
