Default Touch off for x and y

    I have a new 48x96 PRSAlpha.

Is there a way I can touch off the spindle to the edge of material in x and y similar to the way we do z? Milling slots in aluminum extrusion, I need position accuracy.

Or what is the best practice with this machine.

Yes there is. You can electrically connect your zzero plate to the extrusion, but you will have to write a short sbp code to move and then stop the action. There is a good example of this in both the XYzero and Z zero routines.
