Default Need help with acrylic design

I am planning to cut out small parts of acrylic and need ideas on how to insert very small pins into the material. Pins are about .0725" in diameter and maybe an inch tall. Sort of ring shanked like nails. Should I attempt to press them into a .0625" hole? Thanks for any advise.

If I were doing it, I would be inclined to use a 1/32" end mill and pocket out the holes to .07, then press them in. This method will give you the best results with the least amount of agg.

How deep do the holes need to be?

    Probably 3/8" in 1/2" material
