Hey all, I know at least a few of us have tried to fabricate OpenDesk designs
www.opendesk.cc
I've done a LOT of work with their files both in making them and designing my own stuff.
Over the years I've tried to make their designs easier to fabricate, and to that end I'm starting to share some of my work.
Here's one I just wrapped up: http://digitallyfabbed.com/#/olivia-desk/ (scroll do bottom for free file download)
It's a remix of the Olivia Desk. I've altered it so that you can use any 3/4" plywood, and I've added some furniture fasteners so that it's really easy to assemble by anyone, even non mechanical/technical friends and family if you want to make it as a gift.
So feel free to download the files and make your own (please do note the non commercial license). I've included DXF files, Vectric files and a 3D SketchUp model along with step by step instructions for assembly.
I'd love to see a build if anyone does one. All you need is a half a sheet of 3/4 plywood!
