Default VFD Turning on and off

2008 PRS Alpha 60x96 HSD Spindle

I just replaced the control board in my machine. The VFD now turns on only when Outputs 1 and 4 are on. VFD (Yakasawa) used to turn on when I turned on my control box (and hit reset), then turn off only when the control box was turned off.

All is wired as it was before. Anyone know what's going on?

I'm not able to take a look at mine at the moment, but there's a jumper that should be set for spindle instead of router.

Thank you, I’ll take a look at the board and see if I can find the jumper.

When I bought my relay board that is how my spindle works. They told me that having the 2 switches linked together was safer

I’m not able to adjust my RPMs now, until the spindle is actually cutting, which isn’t logical.

Brady, thanks very much. I'll check those 2 jumpers Monday am and report back.

Right on - glad you got it!

What happened to your original board? Lightning?
