Default Texturing for the first time with Pine

It may be a little extra effort to use pine, but the profit margin is there considering how cheap these panels are from big-box stores. 24x16 inches. Pine board from Menards. Black surface, recessed field, textured with 1/4 ballnose end mill. Polycrylic finish.

A detailed build video is posted on our youtube channel. I'd love it if you checked it out. We publish new content all the time, so subscribe too!

Looks good. Some might not like the knots in it, but I sure do.

Simon...carving texture looks great. I'm going to check out your you-tube. I could use the technique on my relief carved letters on the blanket chests I build.

Those are some really well produced videos. Nice work!

Are you exclusively designing in Aspire/VCarve?

Thank you, Eric. For the most part, yes. I use Aspire. I'll dabble in Illustrator sometimes for some special design tools I wouldn't know how to mimic in Aspire though.
