Default Quiet spindle/router for engraving plastic substrates?

Any help will be appreciated, I have been engraving plastic substrates and I am so tired of hearing the router whine. My wife is tired of it too. Even with hearing protection it's got a bit annoying after an hour or two.

Any spindle will be much quieter than a router. The water cooled import Gary has is one choice and quite inexpensive comparatively and also doing an upgrade using an upgrade kit for your machine from SB is an option. That would likely be a 2.2HP HSD for which they would also supply the mounting bracket, different torsion lift springs due to the weight difference, etc. (Gary could do that for his spindle too!). Or you can buy a spindle and VSD alone and make your own mounting bracket, etc. as some have done.
