I was trying to run files I created in PW V2 which have a .crv extention. The control software does not reconize them. What are the steps to convert a Park Works File into a .sbp file that the control software reconizes?

You need to generate and save a tool path file.
On the upper right side of the PartWorks screen is where you do this.
You need to highlight the area of your work you are going to tool path then select the tab on the upper right of the screen.
There you can pick what type of tool path you are going to make, select the tool, set the depth, speed, etc.
I am sure Vectric has a video of how to do this on there site.
I have made all the tool paths but the file extention remains .crv which the control software won't reconize. I need to figure out how to convert to .sbp file. No option to save the file in that format exists that I can find.
Under the tab to the upper right is an icon to save.
Have you saved it under this tab or under the save icon on the left?
You are saving the TOOL PATH not the file (.CRV) with the save icon under this tab.
Mike, when you save and it shows .crv
backspace the .crv away and then add in .sbp
I do that sometimes.
On second thought , if something is wrong with your software this may not be the right solution for you.
looking at partworks, are you clicking the icon
that states "save toolpath" in the toolpath side?Have you set up the correct post processor?
here is where you need to visit.

Hello all.
New guy here.
Ive tried saving all file types but I cant get part works to save as a sent file. When I "save" in the tool path area I get an "invalid argument was encountered" prompt.
Its very frustrating as all im trying to start with is a simple circle.
I just bought this machine if there is anyone whom might assist I would be most happy.
Ill also contact vetric to see if they can help.
Im not sure where to even start.
