Default V Carve file - router not turning on, moving to wrong coords, no Z travel, errors

The machine was just working fine on a profile cut. I switched to a v bit, zeroed Z and tried to run a v carve file. The router did not turn on, it moved about 6" to the right of where it was supposed to go, then began moving in X and Y only (no Z movement), When I stopped it, I got an Axis Designation Error. I shut everything down and restarted and when I tried to run the file again, I got a Stop Button is On message.

Just curious… what tool number do you have assigned to the v-bit? If 20 or higher, it’s trying to run it on another axis…

Yep, that was it. Good call Steve, thank you.
