Default Starts cutting at random spot

I have an Alpha III and just installed last fall. Occassionally it loses it position during a cut, and starts cutting over at a new position. I have a ground strap to the dust collector system, but it acts like a static problem.

I had basically the same problem where i would Zero everything to the lower left of a board start the file and it would jump up to the center of the board to stsrt the cut.

Or i would start a file and mid cut it just stopped. An average of 3 or 4 times within a cut.

How i fixed it was I found some bare copper wire ran it through the length of the dust collector grounded it to the carriage on one end and grounded it to the dust collector on the other. To this day i have not had the same problem crop up.
The credit for this tip goes to Brady, he told me about this and I haven't had anymore problems.
Also make sure its braided wire instead of solid so it will flex better and not break. But i would almost bet it will solve your problem.
