    Default European (Ural?) Red Squirrel

    Tried to follow the heart/sap line so Squirrel stayed Red.
    Partially succeeded
    This was just a proto from a cutoff I had that looked right.
    More info on Vectic Forum;

    Going to be more difficult placing/sizing/finding wood....cute little "Ural" guy though.

    Yes Jerry,
    This was just a straight .stl import, done on a short cut off of .921" thick Cherry.
    Model was bought by a guy I've bought off/on for years;

    https://www.ebay.com/sch/27newstyle/...1&_ipg=&_from=

    Hard part on this one, would either be "Glazing" or guesstimating heart sap line like I ALMOST got right.
    I was lucky do avoid an ugly gray streak, but guessed knot wrong(It was supposed to be in the hole right next to it judging by distance between knot on top of board, and then at the bottom(1")...but it went straight down for depth of carving, and then moved the entire inch in the last half of board).
    Fun guesstimating, but Lucky helps
    It'll darken with age and finish...MAY try undercutting HIS right claws, as they don't look quite natural....any attempt at Glazing will wait half a year for most of color change.(Give me time to practice

    Takes a TINY Tapered Ball Nose, like those ones on the Vectric thread to get his hairy chin and eyeballs right, unless it's a fair amount larger.
