    Default Alpha Controller & Motors - Upgrade your Standard machine

    Up for sale is an Alpha controller with the 7.2:1 motors/cables complete and ready for upgrading your Standard machine. The control card is v208 and currently running stable on SB3 v3.8.42.

    Also available is one extra Alpha Vexta drive (no ribbon cable) that can be used for an extra axis for an indexer etc. and one USB spindle speed controller for a Yaskawa VFD.

    The control PC (Quad core AMD A10 5800K APU Win 7 Pro 8GB 1TB) with a 15" LG LCD that is proven to work well and all setup with numerous custom settings/scripts could also be purchased if so desired.

    $4000 for controller and motors/cables.
    $125 for extra Vexta drive
    $125 for spindle rpm controller
    + Shipping

    PC and 15" LCD Monitor $300

    Just to add, this control box is wired for both 110 and 220. 110 for the drives and a router if that's what you run with and 220 for spindle usage (by swapping a jumper).

    I will also include a XY corner zeroing plate with scripts to use it.

    It could be used on either a PRS or PRT, but you would have to check your racks for width. It's off a PRS where the racks are 0.5" wide with 30 tooth pinions on XY and 25 tooth on Z.

    Ya I have the racks that use 20t pinions. so all the racks would have to be changed then right?

    Are they 1/2" wide? I think the older PRT's were 3/8"

    mine was the newest prt before they changed over but I also replaced them a couple years back with 1/2" wide.
