Default Run-time error '58' (file already exists) crash

Curious if anyone has run into and "Error 58/file already exists" issue.
Open/part execute/start.... get error, click "ok" Shopbot closes itself.

    - uninstalled/reinstalled
    - did the same for various versions of Shopbot control software
    - uninstalled using Revo Pro Uninstaller
    - performed Windows 10 updates
    - renamed and moved files elsewhere

After a tech has remotely attempted to help me on and off for two days unsuccessfully, I'm stumped.

I use 3.4.27 to preview my work as I go in the office (the Shopbot's in the back in a work area).

From what I’m reading online, this is a VB (visual basic) error… in your case, the most likely scenario is something corrupted in the computers registry or malicious code somehow got in.

From what I found online, it appears that help from the software developer may be necessary or that the quickest resolution is often a reinstall of the OS.

Thanks. AND I just realized that this is posted in the wrong section. I'll pass this along to my IT guy. And repost properly.
