    Default Adding z axis proximity switch to older PRT

    Looking for pics of how people have added a proximity switch to the z axis.

    Just add it...Note what kind it is (NO or NC) and then plug it into any free input on the board. I would suggest Input 5. Then in SB3, set up the switch using the VN command and select the switch type and action using the drop down. There's not a whole lot more to it than that.

    If using an inductive switch, there will most likely be 3 wires. Power, Gnd & Signal. Power to 12v (24v if you have it), Gnd to Gnd on the board and Signal to the Input.
