Left click and drag a selection box around the files or left click select the first one and then shift-left click select the last one. Once selected, either drag to the recycle bin or right click and delete or use the delete key. That will put them in the recycle bin, but won't free up hard drive space until you delete them from there or empty the recycle bin.

To bypass the recycle bin and permanently delete them, use shift-delete.
