Default Yikes, new Computer and ShotBot not working right

Okay, so my old computer died. Bought a new refurbused one with Windows 10. Did the online upgrade for the ShopBot software. All went well until I tried to cut a test circle. At first it wouldn't respond to the ZeroZ Axis command. Then I send the router on a little trip, when I told it to "Go Home" it didn't make it very far. So basically I did something wrong during the install. What could it be?

    Alicia,
Don't know if it's relevant, but just installed 3.8.52 on control computer(and because I know everything, didn't read the first instructions again) and didn't run my old 3.8.50 as an Administrator,
and didn't install .52 as an Administrator and had different problems.
Did you run the whole Setup routine all the way through?
    Did you re-install Firmware?
Maybe a bad USB connection on new computer?
What's "Packet ET"? (do a UT and read..and then a UD and the recommended move..Packet ET on bottom of UD screen).

    Insufficiently caffeinated....Just thinking.

Gosh, I'm gonna un-install everything and reinstall everything, but use a different USB connection. I know how to use the machine, I just don't know how it works inside of the machine. Think Oddball from Kelly's Heroes. "I only ride 'em, I don't know what makes 'em work."

Did you get the computer to work right with your ShopBot? I need to upgrade my control computer.
