    Default rotary axis for CNC

What do I need to know about a rotary axis to determine that it is compatible with my PRT 4G Shopbot. There are numerous choices available such as this one.

    Any recommendations are welcome.

    Thanks,

I bought one from E Bay that was pretty much like what you see but about $300. You will have to come up with a driver. In my case I bought a fourth one for my control board and had no problem at all making it work. If you have the red drivers on your control board you should know that the pads for the current limiting resistors are not use but rather the resistors are mounted on the drives before they are mounted on the board.

I have done some really cool work on this guy. If you are using Aspire it makes that pretty easy to do.
