I suppose, if you don't know what it is, the group would be of no use to you. FB is the debil...

It appears to be a replacement for the Vectric side of the equation. The biggest issue with this FB account is it requires a login to see what's being said and that's before you find out what is they're talking about! Can't be much of a company if they don't have their own website. My 2 cents, Russ

Well I will make a correction to my post, they do have a website:
    https://carveco.com/
It is software company with a few similarities to Vectric. Russ

Yes, they have a website. This FB group isn't owned, operated, or endorsed by Carveco. It's a group to teach and learn the software, along with sharing ideas.
Maker Plus is much more advanced than it's Vectric competitor, and has better tools. Carveco (the original creators of Artcam) took over Artcam, since Adobe 86'd it, and they are improving it, and fixing all of the bugs.
Maker and Maker Plus, are the hobbyist versions, that are fully capable of running production, and the 3D tools are included. Another benefit to Carveco products, you can subscribe to decide if it's something that you like, and all the toolpaths can be saved and ran, unlike Vectric. If you purchase, do it directly from the company, and not a re-seller. The support is unmatched 24/7.
I have no affiliation with Carveco, but I'm a very happy customer.
