Default Question on assembly of PRSalpha Buddy BT48

I am hoping someone can help.

    I just purchased a 2017 PRSalpha Buddy BT48.

Let me first say this community and Shopbot themselves have been awesome!

So I am trying to put the Powerstick and deck back on after receiving it and I have a couple of questions that I am hoping someone here can help me with:

What does this screw/bolt do that is next to the X-axis pinion gear under the Powerstick? It looks like something should attach there but I have no idea?

Here is a picture of it:

    What is this screw 2.jpg

    Thank you,

    Jimmy

Is this to secure the Powerstick during movement?

Possibly for the mechanical hard stops.

Just from what I remember looking at the one I used to own. I believe that if you run your table too far back, it bumps into that bolt and kicks the stepper motor out a tiny bit so that it doesn't bind up and damage the motor or rack.
Never was told that, but it seems like that is what I observed.

    Thank you for the responses.

Shopbot got back to me and it is the bolt that hits the nut on the Powerstick for the hard stop. It is moved out of the way when you pull the release lever so you can move the table freely and remove the Powerstick.

    Thanks again,

    Jimmy
