I vote for the CNC
Set the CNC to a depth of about .23 inches, maybe in two passes with a 3/8ths bit ... take down the rest with a belt sander with the desired grit.
So are you doing a large sheet of Corian ? What is the project ?
It is a great material.
The decimal point seems to be the most important on the z axis... x & y not so much....

Made an inquiry to an individual if he was aware of anyone who would have 1/4 inch corian. He stated his inventory presently had a 2' x 8' sheet and he and was looking to give it a new home. Not even hesitating I would assist him in reducing his inventory. At present, no project is on the drawing board however I'm always on the look out for additional material.
