    Default Dust foot is terrible.

I really do not feel like the current dustfoot is very efficient. I limed the style used back in 09 and do remember it being a frequent topic on here. Using magnets to be able to take it of and on is a great idea but the vacuum is being directed to a very small area directly around the router and the exhaust is blowing it all away before it cam be sucked up. Also the brush was pretty much mangled on day one. Anybody else feel this way?what solutions have you tried?

While we’re on the dust shoe topic… I’m wondering how others with PRT twin Z’s have handled dust shoes?

Default dust foot problems / air deflector

Have you made an air deflector for the bottom of your router ?

One of those small plastic 6 inch frizbees will work. Hold it on to the router with a few pieces of some very light chain.
The decimal point seems to be the most important on the z axis... x & y not so much....

I'm playing with a cheapy. I'll post later on after my tests. So far I think it's workable. I have spindle on older 48x96 Bot. Russ

The same thing happened to me. The bristles got sucked in and are making a mess in the suction entrance... I'm ordering one of the kentcnc ones and will let you know how that went.

Used a Kent for several years. Loved it. Upgraded to an ATC and had to sell the Kent. I would HIGHLY recommend the Kent dust shoe.

Not affiliated with Kent dust shoes, just think they are a great product!
