    why is it that the tool returns to the home position after each tool path. Is there a way to stop it from doing this other than editing the SPB file each time . I just installed the latest control software. In the previous CS. this did not occur.

    That command is in the post processor. You have to modify the PP file to have it go somewhere else.

    There's a setting in the toolpath menu that you can define where the machine goes when a job is over. Click on "material setup"
