    Default Run-time error 8020: Error reading comm device

    hi, I just bought a used 2002 PRT (standard?). The control board says v3.51 and I think I have the correct driver downloaded. (3.4.27) it is plugged into the correct serial to usb port and I receive a runtime error 8020 no matter what I do. I also have refreshed the firmware along with the software. what am I dong wrong? Please help!

    I just go that last night. David B said it was a sign of impending memory/cpu problem with your pc, but only if it keeps happening I suppose.
