    Default Joe Crumley

I just learned that Joe Crumley passed away. Those of you that have been on the forum for a while will remember Joe as an amazing sign artist...probably the best that's ever been on the forum.... with very strong opinions on just about everything. I have only banned 2 people since this forum started, but threatened to ban him at least a dozen times!

If you're new here, do yourself a favor and search for any of his posts that show images of his signs. He was a true master.

He always had interesting lessons at the Austin “Camp ShopBot”. His “rootin tootin” Rubber cement paint mask worked!

So sorry to hear...I had asked him several questions back in 2008-09 when I was getting started...I chuckle now, but at the time thought I was dealing with one of my old drill sgts!! But his advice was always spot on! RIP Joe

Joe was a font of knowledge and was generous in sharing it. I was thinking about him a few months ago and wondering how he was. RIP

Godspeed Joe. You were the best "crusty old fart" I ever met!
