Hi,
I was checking the hard stops and proximity switches on our prs alpha (48x48) and found that the specs found in the shopbot install manual seem to be incorrect. So, I placed the hard stops about a 1/2" from the ends and the switches an additional 1/2" from that.
By that I mean, the gantry is a 1/2" from the end of the frame and the proximity switch detects a 1/2" more clearance from there.
Is there a factory recommendation for proximity alert prior to hitting the hard stop?
