Rotary Frustration
I bought and setup a rotary indexer last week. I've been having trouble with toolpaths. Aspire would show me the preview that I expected but when I saved the toolpath it would not be the same. Shopbot tech support helped me and I was able get the toolpath I expected.
Now I am having the same problem with the post processor that worked with the rounding toolpath.
The attached pics show the Aspire preview that I expected, flutes along the length of the cylinder. The second pic shows the Shopbot preview with the flutes perpendicular to the cylinder axis.
I don't know what to do. I have tried several post processors without success.
I've owned my Shopbot for 16 years and have a lot of experience with the machine.
