Default Dust collection for CNC rotary setup

I'd like to see what people have set up for dust collection for a CNC rotary indexer.

    Thanks, Phil

I have a great dust collection system for my indexer. I let it fly and pay my daughter to vacuum it up.

I tried to figure out a good way to keep the dust under control but virtually everything I tried was less than effective and got in the way of the process. Best to just pay my daughter. Teenagers always need more money.

Inverted and mounted to the gantry with an adjustable bracket.
It follows with the gantry and hooked to any dust collector, works great.

    8Ball, thanks. Definetly worth consideration.

I'm considering the same device for dust collection. Would you post a picture that shows how it is attached to the gantry?

    Thanks, Phil

    Default Dust Collection

I gave up on dust collection on my PRT Rotary but I filled the sides and bottom where it is mounted and made a couple of shields mounted with rare earth magnets which move with the gantry. It pretty much keeps the chips confined to the trough where they are fairly easy to pick up and vacuum.
