    Default Need PC Router Rebuild Instructions

    Hey Guys;

    How do I get the bottom bearing out of my PC 75182 that came with my Shopbot. I see Shopbot includes the instructions but I have had the rebuild kit for about 2 yrs and the instructions if they came with it are long gone!

    Thanks
    Mike Purcell

    You need an air wrench and a 1 1/8" socket and Newtonian physics:

    1. Remove the 3 screws from the router's bottm bearing retainer.
    2. Secure router inside of a vice type tool or hold router so it doesn't move.
    3. Set air wrench for counter clockwise or in the direction that unscrews.
    4. Remove the 1 1/8" nut with air wrench.

    The speed and torque of the air wrench removes the nut before the rest of the router knows what happened.
