    Default Funky TurboCAD files

Lately I've been getting some weird things coming out of TCAD .dxf files. Everything will look dandy and then when I go to cut it I'll have some line that cuts out in space somewhere. I can't figure out where its coming from because I'll go to that point in TCAD and nothing is there. I've even sent the file to AutoCAD and still nothing there. Where are these Gremlins coming from??? If I can't see them in a CAD program why is the DXF translator putting them there??

    Thanks folks!

    Joa,

Can't tell you for sure, but I work with TurboCAD a lot and the first thing I would check for are entities in hidden layers. Go to OPTIONS, then LAYERS, and make sure all the layers are visible ( the check boxes under the eyeglasses icon are all checked). If not, make them visible and see if your phanton cuts show up on the screen.

If you would like to email the drawing to me I'll be glad to look at it and see if I can figure out what's going on.

    Good luck,
