    Default Joining Pieces

I drew a number of rectangles in BobCad using 4 separate lines to make each. When I brought the DXF into PW it treated each line as a separate item. I tried to 'select all' then 'join open vectors' but that didn't work. I went back into BobCad, and selected each line, and joined it to the next line, but that didn't work either.

How can I join them, either in PW or BobCad?

Nat, when the "Join" dialog was open, did you try adjusting the tolerance value? Try a larger/looser tolerance.

It didn't allow me to do that. The 'join' button was dulled out so that I couldn't select it when I did adjust the tolerance. I think it was also saying that there were no open vectors.

Is it that Bobcad places the pieces far enough apart that they aren't considered to be related to one another in PW?

That could be. Can you attach the offending .dxf to take a look at?

I think I may be OK. I changed the tolerance before selecting anything, then seleceted the objects and that did the trick. I did a test on a file I'd created in Bobcad and it seemed to work. We'll see...

    Thanks for the help.
