Default How do I put a radius on a rectangle in X3

I have a box drawn that is 10" long and 2" wide. I now want to radius the two lower corners as seen on the screen but leave the top two at 90*.

I bet this is easy in Corel.

One way is to use the object properties docker. With the rectangle selected you can go to the Rectangle tab (last one to the right) and select corner roundness.

You can also use the Fillet/Chamfer/Scallop Docker but you have to convert to curves or some such to get it to work.

Do both rectangles (regular and rounded), edit the spans in node edit mode then join the two halves together.

This is a web site I've founded recently. It regularly publish free tutorials (and more) for 2D graphics. I've picked up quite a few good tips over there. This is from the last COREL newsletter I received.

Thank you Jay for calling me this morning and telling me how to get two corners rounded and not the others.

I have taken a screen shot of the tool used to do this. You will see I have drawn two rectangles and the top one is selected. The bottom one is the results I am looking for, that is the top two corners are rounded but the bottom two are not.

The tool has been circled in black. You can select any corner and apply just the amount of rounding you wish. Each corner can be different. You can also click on the lock icon and lock each corner and apply the same amount to all four at one time if you wish.

Robert, is this the same thing you were talking about?

Yes, there are a couple of ways to get to it. But that's it.
