    Hi Sheldon
Im using Vector XT with nurbs surfacing and the rotary option. I'm very happy with the control you have over 3D toolpaths. Options include raster(back and forth),"iso-parametric"(based on the outside shape) and following a curve(engraving). You can constrain the toolpath between two curves or within any enclosed shape.I cant compare it to any other 3D toolpathing program since it's the only one I have used.
As for the CAD side, the nurbs tools are in their infancy compared to Rhino for instance.
I use Vector for 2D drawing, Rhino for 3D drawing and Vector for toolpaths.
