    Default Hold down tape

What works well for holding down small parts while routing?..Tried double sided banner tape but much too sticky.
Also what is a good surface plywood for the shopbott?

    Hi Matthew,

I've been using this for holding everything from 3/4" mdo to 1/8" pvc pieces 1/4" wide. It holds incredibly well and leaves no residue. In the U.S. it should sell wholesale for about $7. Marvelous stuff. Careful where you buy it though as it has a short shelf life, 6 months, I think! http://www.intertapepolymer.com/
    Good Luck!

    Matthew,

This is easier to get to it. It is number 591 near the bottom.

Indoor/Outdoor carpet tape. It has filaments in it which make it easier to pull off in one piece.
    It's about 1.875" wide although it's sold as 2"
